El Consejo Nacional de Productores de Chiles de México (CONAPROCH) ha tomado a bien promover un evento denominado “Convención Mundial de Chile” (World Pepper Convention) con el propósito de reunir, cada dos años, a la comunidad científica, comercial, agrícola e industrial del chile (Capsicum spp) de México y otros países alrededor del mundo. La Primera Convención Mundial del Chile (WPC) reunió a todos aquellos que comparten el interés en temas de genética, horticultura, fisiología, patología, nuevos genotipos, comercialización, producción, etc.La Primera Convención Mundial del Chile (First World Pepper Convention) dió cita a toda la comunidad chilera mundial del 27 al 29 de junio de 2004 en el Poliforum León, Gto. La segunda convención mundial del chile reunirá a todos los chileros en un magno evento en Zacatecas, Zacatecas, The National Council of Pepper Growers has decided to promote an event called “First World Pepper Convention” (Primera Convención Mundial del Chile)with the objective of gather together all the scientific, commercial, agricultural and industrial community of Capsicum, from México and the rest of the world.
